Cloud Art Kids Contest - Rules and More!

Let your imagination take flight.

 We’re inviting young artists everywhere to turn their real cloud photos into magical masterpieces using the Cloud Art App for iPad.


One lucky creator will win $250 cash (Visa Gift Card) and be featured across all our Cloud Art social media channels!

Contest Rules and Privacy

⚖️ CLOUD ART LLC – OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

 A PURCHASE OR PAID SUBSCRIPTION TO THE CLOUD ART APP IS REQUIRED TO CREATE ELIGIBLE ARTWORK TO ENTER TO WIN, BUT DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED SOLELY BY BINDING ARBITRATION AND ENTRANTS WAIVE THE ABILITY TO BRING CLAIMS IN A CLASS ACTION FORMAT.


1. CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD

The Cloud Art Kids Creativity Contest (“Contest”) begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 15, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on November 30, 2025 (“Contest Period”).
The winner will be announced on or about December 6, 2025.


2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, ages 4 through 12, at the time of entry.

All entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the minor child.

Employees, officers, and directors of Cloud Art LLC, its affiliates, advertising, promotion, or fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings) and household members of each are not eligible to participate.
Void in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and where prohibited by law.

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.


3. HOW TO ENTER

During the Contest Period, parents or guardians may submit entries in one of the following ways:


Social Media Entry: Post your child’s Cloud Art creation on Instagram or Facebook and tag @CloudArtApp in the post.
 

Email Entry: Email your child’s artwork to info@cloudartapp.com with the subject line “Cloud Art Contest Submission.”
 

Each submission must include:

  • The child’s first name, last initial, and city/state.
     
  • A digital image showing a real cloud photo enhanced with artwork created within the Cloud Art App for iPad or iPhone.
     
  • Confirmation that the entrant is a paid app user (not a free trial).
     

Limit: One (1) entry per child. Entries that are incomplete or do not comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified at Cloud Art LLC’s sole discretion.  All entries become the property of Cloud Art LLC and will not be returned or acknowledged.


4. PRIZE

  • Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive a $250 Visa Gift Card.
     
  • The winning artwork will also be featured on Cloud Art’s website, email newsletters, and social media channels.
     

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $250. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  Limit: one (1) prize per household.


5. WINNER SELECTION

Entries will be judged by a panel of Cloud Art LLC representatives based on:

  • Creativity and originality (50%)
     
  • Effective use of real cloud photography (25%)
     
  • Artistic composition using the Cloud Art App (25%)
     

The decision of the judges is final and binding in all matters related to this Contest.  The winner will be notified by email, direct message, or phone on or about December 6, 2025.


6. WINNER VERIFICATION

The potential winner’s parent or guardian may be required to sign and return:

  • An Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release
  • An IRS Form W-9 (for prize value reporting)
     

Failure to return required documents within seven (7) days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.  Prize will be delivered within approximately 45 days after winner verification.


7. RIGHTS & PERMISSIONS

By entering, the parent or guardian grants Cloud Art LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted artwork, along with the child’s first name, last initial, and city/state, for promotional and marketing purposes, including on Cloud Art’s website, social media, and email communications.  If selected as the winner, you also agree to provide a photo of your child holding their iPad displaying their winning artwork, which may be shared publicly.  No further compensation will be provided.


8. PRIVACY

Cloud Art LLC respects your privacy.  Personal data collected (such as parent name, email address, and mailing address) will be used solely for contest administration and prize fulfillment.  No full names, street addresses, or contact information of minors will ever be made public.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • No purchase beyond paid app use is required.
     
  • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted except at Cloud Art LLC’s sole discretion.
     
  • Cloud Art LLC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
     
  • Cloud Art LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances impair its integrity or proper operation.
     

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RELEASE

By participating, entrants and parents/guardians agree to release and hold harmless Cloud Art LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates (“Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or injuries arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

Released Parties are not responsible for:

  • Late, lost, misdirected, or corrupted entries
     
  • Technical, network, or server malfunctions
     
  • Human or typographical errors in advertising or administration
     

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participants shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of CONNECTICUT, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

All disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to class action, exclusively by binding arbitration administered by AGREED ATTORNEY or a comparable service, held in MILFORD, CONNECTICUT.  Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Entrants waive any right to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. LEGAL NOTICE

Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Cloud Art LLC reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
